Bio:
Tania's images focus on the traces of man and what he has abandoned.   We see remnants of a mining town in Namibia that tell us of a former life.   The walls had been painted in vibrant colors that to this day still hold some of their vibrancy.   We see drawings on the walls that seem mystical and want to know more about them.

Tania's use of light and shadow plays up these colors and makes the drawings even more mysterious. We see doors and walls enveloped by the sensuous curve of the sand that has begun to invade and take over the abandoned buildings.

Tania came to photography through her love of exploration and her fascination with the interaction between man and environment. She spent many years hiking and trekking through out the world and it was this love of nature that inspired her to become a professional photographer.
